Pearl's Pangi Nut shaker is made from the seeds inside the football fruit of the Pangium tree, native to mangrove swamps in Southeast Asia. Pangi nuts are about the size of a walnut and are hollowed out to make the shaker. The 9" Bamboo handle is connected to 22 individually strung Pangi nuts. The larger nuts create a deeper earthy tone and the Bamboo handle gives the player more control.
